I've seen people get their pilot's license in 6 weeks ... Everything you need time and money.

Other - driver in the requirement:
Airlines are looking for a pilot who makes a minimum of 250 hours required and some experience of commercial flight. I know some people who have given their time and expertise in flight control set up in the night, or letter of flight for a FBO.
Some passengers will be less, as a pilot, but also some who prefer a quality experience "as a flight instructor or a letter or a position of pilot payment.
So, now I would say at least a year or two specific commercial flights should get an interview with the airlines.

You can do it in five years. Depending on your ambitions. Are you looking to fly in private planes or a commercial pilot? You must first gain experience and there are online courses that can be take.Some offerered may finally come to the site and fly their planes. This flight will save you some credit but not much. Basically, it serves as a test for deciding whether you really want to be a pilot and give the driver, but not much more. If you really want, then pay for fuel for planes and trains are willlll expensive. Maybe a loan of about 30-50 miles, and this is much help. Also for your information if you convictons background or negative things, forget it. I have been in the air for some time and is not as difficult as it seems to be a pilot, but his registration should be clean .. Good luck to you.
